Eco-Campaigning

Recognizing the importance of hands-on activities, the CSW Sustainability Committee participated in the 2023 Annual Weston Town Clean-up on Earth Week's weekend. During the event, students actively picked up trash from the trails and parks. After the event, students rewarded themselves with a well-deserved meal from a nearby restaurant, hoping to continue the effort in the future.

In the school year 2022-2023, Sustainability Committee took a new approach to the Earth Day by hosting community wide workshops. During the event, students participated in a workshop hosted by one of the CSW faculty staffs, or invited guests. This year, we hosted a total of 15 workshops including Vegan Cooking, Using Machine Learning to Predict Weather, Environmental History, and Making Bioplastic.

Sustainability Committee, this year, initiated a Eco-campaigning project, where we labled all the lights in the campus to ensure that our community is aware of which switch controls which light.
